ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 5, 2012
Fellowship Meal Today
On the first Sunday of every month we have a “fellowship meal”. Please be our guest and give us the privilege of knowing you. Come to the fellowship hall and you’re invited to the front of the line if you are a first-timer.
Bill Boggess will be with us Tuesday evening, February 7 to meet with the Elders. He will also be with us on Wednesday evening, February 8, at 6:30 p.m. for our Prayer Meeting service. Please plan to be here. He will be giving a report on his work in France.
Men’s Leadership Meeting
A very important meeting of the Elders and Deacons of Riverwood will be held on Sunday evening, February 19, at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We will have general discussion on several issues related to the future leadership of this Body of Believers and then devote ourselves to prayer. We would ask for the prayer support of all who are part of Riverwood - that the leadership team of Elders and Deacons would have the wisdom and guidance which comes from God alone.
Larry Moyer to visit February 26th
Larry Moyer, president of Evantell ministry will be conducting two sessions of study on Sunday, February 26th. We will not have Sunday School at 9:30, but the first session will be from 10-11 a.m. “How to Argue About the Gospel”, then a 15 minute break with the second session from 11:15-12:15 p.m. “How do you talk to your own relatives about Spiritual things?” We will have a Fellowship Meal immediately following the morning services. This will replace the 1st Sunday March meal. Larry has not been with us in many years; this should be a great time together.
